DAkkS calibrations

DAkkS calibrations
Welcome to the market leader in high-end calibrations

Our smallest achievable measurement uncertainty: U = 0.2 µm per meter

To illustrate the accuracy of eumetron calibrations, here is a comparison of two known dimensions
Our currently smallest achievable measurement uncertainty is 0.2 µm per meter.
Transferred to the 8848 m high Mount Everest, this corresponds to a probe ball with a diameter of 1.8 mm.

"A measurement result without specifying the measurement uncertaintyis just a guess"

eumetron is an accredited DAkkS calibration laboratory

The DAkkS is the national accreditation body of the Federal Republic of Germany. Germany therefore has an accreditation system that is transparent for manufacturers, consumers and conformity assessment bodies.

eumetron is an accredited DAkkS calibration laboratory. This means that the DAkkS, as an independent institution, confirms that eumetron carries out calibrations in the field of dimensional measured quantities for length and coordinate measuring technology in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 in a professional manner and in accordance with the applicable requirements.
Through the accreditation, eumetron and the DAkkS make a particular contribution to the quality assurance of products and services, consumer protection and the competitiveness of the economy in Germany and the world. After all, the DAkkS accreditation is internationally recognized.
